The Belgian Comic Strip Center; a gem of Art Nouveau, offers the ideal surroundings for important meetings. The grand entrance hall, light pit, mezzanines, auditorium and closed rooms are available all year round for dinners, cocktail parties, press conferences, etc. On such occasions, the museum's exhibitions are free for all guests. Maximum capacity: 1,500 people (standing), 550 people (sitting) Catering: La Compagnie d'Arthur
What other reason can there be for enterprises, ministeries and service clubs to choose the Belgian Comic Strip Center, whether by day or by night, than to imbue their events with a special flavour ?
As a non-profit organization, the Belgian Comic Strip Center relies on government subsidies for a mere 5% of its working budget. Therefore, it is thanks to the Centre's own activities that it can balance the books and set enough financial means aside for the promotion of comic strips. Even before the official opening, when the building was still being restored, the possibility of catering for private occasions was taken into account by equipping rooms and areas with the necessary provisions.
Out of a sense of respect for everyday visitors, cocktail parties, gala dinners, seminaries, press conferences and meetings which take place during opening hours are held in rooms which are not accessible to the public. At night, however, the whole museum is available for hire.
The organization of these events is of course largely the result of the Belgian Comic Strip Center 's enormous success and its unique location in a building where two art forms, Art Nouveau and comic strips (both of which proliferate in Brussels), come together to form a harmonious whole.
Every year the Belgian Comic Strip Center hosts more than 120 events: press conferences, seminaries, meetings, commercial presentations, weddings and private soirees.

It is to the credit of Romanian comic strip artists that they have been able to produce such original work of great talent – the fruit of a long inheritance – in the trials and tribulations of a century during which their society has suffered particularly.
Les Pixels et les Mini Dinosaures
The publication of the third Pixels album presents the Belgian Comic Strip Center with the ideal opportunity to pay tribute to an essential Franco-Belgian comic strip author.
In 2012, Maarten Toonder would have been 100 years old, and it is also the start of the Toonder year. We will be made well aware of it too! In addition to a number of exhibitions in the Netherlands, the publication of a new Tom Puss story and the première of a new B. Bumble musical, the Belgian Comic Strip Center also very much aims to be part of the celebrations.
