Seules à Berlin - Nicolas Juncker
01 April 2020
Every Wednesday of containment, we look to the future to present one of our upcoming exhibitions.
This Wednesday, we present you the subject of our next Gallery: "Seules à Berlin" (Casterman BD) by Nicolas Juncker.
In "Seules à Berlin", Nicolas Juncker imagines the meeting of two women who really existed, during a few days in April and May 1945, in Berlin.
Ingrid, the German woman, trying to survive in a world in ruins.
Evgeniya, the Russian, who accompanies and undergoes a triumphant Stalinism.
Side by side, alone facing the men, they make us relive an episode in history that both fascinates us and leaves us incredulous.
