What if Little Nemo were to awaken today, after a hundred years of dreamless sleep? He would find himself in an unfamiliar world—our own.
Out of this idea Le Réveil de Little Nemo [The Awakening of Little Nemo] was born, a comic book published in French by the Comic Art Museum. The book presents six stories written by Philippe de Pierpont, co-written and illustrated by six artists from across the globe. By blending their own realities with the dream world of Little Nemo—Winsor McCay’s iconic comic book—they created stories that are both intimate and universal, where the poetry of dreams engages with the complexity of the real world.
The result is a meeting point between artistic heritage and modern storytelling—a bridge between past and present.
