The name of Patrice Leconte evokes a number of outstanding films, whose fame testifies to their success. For several months, two comic book authors accompanied him on his projects, taking note of each stage of the adventure. The union of these talents gives us a remarkable album that revisits the director's career with humour. It comes to life under Nicoby's strokes and Joub's pen, between meetings, anecdotes, sharing and discoveries. The expressive drawing responds to the dynamic rhythm of the dialogues and repartees. The duo of authors paint a portrait of a funny, humble, open-minded man, with many projects. His other passion, comics, is evoked through his collaboration with Pilote magazine in the 1970s as a cartoonist and scriptwriter. From his beginnings to the present day, the filmmaker confides in us with sincerity, sharing his memories, successes as well as difficulties and disappointments. The project of his latest film, "Maigret", is gradually being revealed for our great pleasure, up to the effervescence of the film set...
